at the Sterling Building in Downtown Cleveland is an example of one of
the many telecommunication site projects in which Harrington Electric
Co. specializes. These projects are typically very fast-track and
involve a heavy emphasis on redundant power distribution sources,
standby power systems, DC power plants, fiber optic backbone, and fire
alarm. This rapidly growing field demands the highest level of
workmanship and professional coordination. This project was performed

Federal Reserve Bank
The Federal Reserve Bank
project is one of our proudest accomplishments. This 3 ½ year, $16
million project was performed under the construction management
leadership of a joint venture between Morse Knudsen (Cleveland, OH) and
Torcon (Westerfield, NJ). This project featured all imaginable aspects
of electrical contracting including a massive, redundant power
distribution system, state-of-the-art data center, elaborate security
system and telecommunications system.

Severance Hall
Severance Hall, home of
the Cleveland Orchestra, is another one of Cleveland's gems and is
arguably one of the finest concert halls in the world. Harrington
Electric Company worked under the construction management leadership of
Panzica Construction Co. on this 2 ½ year project. The project,
designed by GSI Architects in concert with the David M. Schwarz
Architectural Services, Inc., involved a sound-isolated building
addition and total renovation of the hall. The combined value of the
electrical work on this project was $3.2 million.

Cleveland Browns
Stadium
Harrington Electric
Company installed all of the communications systems at another Cleveland
landmark, the new Cleveland Browns Stadium. The systems, falling under
(4) different contracts, were the Sound System, Broadcast System, RF
System, Security System and Fire Alarm System. The combined value of
these contracts totaled approximately $8 million.

University Hospital -
Westlake
This recently completed
hospital, designed by GSI Architects, is truly a state-of-the-art
medical facility. The construction manager was Turner Construction Co.
The value of the electrical work was approximately $3.3 million.

Allen Theater
Harrington Electric
Company was privileged to have been involved with the renovation of this
historic Cleveland landmark owned by the Playhouse Square Association.
This project involved an addition (housing a new stage, support areas
and loading dock) as well as a complete renovation of the existing
theater space. Turner Construction was the construction manager. The
design firm was GSI Architects. The electrical project was valued at
approximately $2 million.

Lifeworks
Lifeworks is a
state-of-the-art physical therapy facility and health club owned by
Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This project was
completed under the construction management leadership of the Albert M.
Higley Company. The value of the electrical work on this project was
approximately $1.25 million.

Cleveland Museum of
Art
The night time photo on
the left of the illuminated Cleveland Museum of Art is a sample of one
of the many building façade lighting projects that Harrington Electric
is proud of. This project and several others were the result of
collaboration with GE Lighting.
