service providers," says Thomas A. Morgan, president of Harrington
Electric. Morgan joined the firm as an estimator in 1978 with a degree in
electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He was appointed
vice president of operations in 1985 and held that position until September
1998 when he was appointed company president.
His father, Jim Morgan, Sr.,
is CEO and chairman of the board. Jim Morgan joined Harrington Electric as a
seasoned journeyman and foreman in 1959. He began rebuilding the company in
1971.
Developing a close-knit
organization with an ethical and professional culture was a high priority for
the company from the beginning. The past 28 years, under the leadership of Jim
Morgan, Sr., has been a period of conservatively controlled growth with the
development of excellent field supervision, project management, support staff,
and top-notch electricians. "Our customers, general contractors, and
owners have all come to recognize, respect, and expect that we will provide
them with the highest quality of workmanship, delivered in the most
professional manner in the marketplace," says Tom Morgan.
EXPERIENCE AND COMMITMENTS

has been in the electrical construction
industry for fifty-five years. He started with Harrington Electric
Company in 1959, during which time he served as President for
twenty-five years. Mr. Morgan as been Chief Executive Officer since
1996, and he is responsible for general management and actively
supervises, in an overview manner, all of the operations. Mr. Morgan has
served as the NECA Cleveland Division President, greater Cleveland
Chapter Governor, and District 2 Vice President.

operation.

Jerome A. Yeamans (JYeamans@harringtonelectric.com)
has been in the electrical industry for
thirty-four years, coming to Harrington Electric Company in 1976. He
spent ten years in consulting engineering and twenty-four in electrical
construction as Vice President with Harrington Electric Company. Mr.
Yeamans is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer, responsible
for engineering primarily in the Design/Build environment as well as in
discreet project management. Mr. Yeamans manages our larger projects and
was responsible for the management and engineering of the Federal
Reserve Bank, a $16 million dollar project.
